im thinking of doing a series of deviants who i admire, and who also happen to be drop-dead gorgeous. this may be the first! :D

well, i actually made it for my friend lauren's birthday (she stalks him on myspace, lol), so an updated version may be posted at a later date. i love this piece so much, it's definitely my best work.

i also adore 's work. if you're one of the few who hasn't seen his stuff, go check it out NOW!

Life is the lint that sticks between your toes. Those are the profound words of tomarrow. I should be a poet!
thank you! i'm so proud of it, usually i hate my work. it really helps having a gorgeous model :)
This is a beautiful drawing. Very close likeness to your subject. My only suggestion would be to bump up the darkness of his hair and the shadows a little to make him a little more 3-D. Otherwise, great job!

:+fav:
holy hell hes gorgeous lol
and it's an amazing picture!
you're really talented :)

yeah, actually the original is way better than the scan :( my scanner can do colors pretty well, but when it comes to black and white... but yeah, the original's shadows are a bit darker.

thanks! :D

Yeah, I completely understand. My scanner leeches the life out of a lot of my work. I usually have to put graphite drawings through Photoshop and adjust the contrast/brightness to make the work resemble the hard-copy version.

Do you mind if I watch you? :)
you're welcome

yeah i tried photoshopping it. didn't work out too nicely, unfortunately, so i only boosted the contrast up minimally.

not at all!! :D thank you!
